Oak Letter Opener

Handmade oak letter opener.
 
This is the best letter opener I have ever made. It has an uncomplicated simple and restrained shape.
 
The grain is beautiful. It aligns in a very pleasing way and there are three fantastic medullary rays accentuating the contours.
 
Plenty of time has been taken carving the opener from locally sourced oak, and then time spent filling the grain, sanding and polishing to produce a very satisfying softness.
 
It's also the largest letter opener I've ever made. It has a generous curvaceous handle with an ergonomic shape. Bigger and curvier than past openers.
 
The opener is finished with a natural hard wearing oil finish which is completely non-toxic.
