Introducing The "Chicken Chute". Designed to help deliver corn treats directly to your chickens.
 
Rather than trying to throw the corn through the bars this little chute pours it into their run. It can also help if little children enjoy feeding your chickens but don't enjoy having their fingers nibbled!

It makes sure all the corn gets to the chickens - zero waste. Without a chicken chute the corn can scatter around the run and this can encourage unwanted pests (mice and worse).

Hand made in beautiful honeyed reclaimed oak with hand cut dovetails.

Finished with OSMA Top oil which is food safe, water repellent, very durable and hardwearing, microporous, breathable and does not crack, peel or flake. This finish is so safe it is certified for children's toys - so your chickens will love it.
 
The chute also provides a great way to get your corn out of the bag... just dip the closed end into the bag of corn and it will scoop just the right quantity for a nice treat.
 
This is a high quality product hand made in West Sussex. Sanded and finished like a piece of furniture rather than a functional item.

Designed to fit through the bars of the EGLU chicken runs. 
 
Chute is 60mm  x 18mm at front (just the right size to go through the gaps in the run). Please check your chicken run to make sure this is going to fit (particularly important if you are using other brands or have a non standard run). Chute is 205mm long.
 
Please note that this is a handmade unique item. The photos above are of an actual chute that has been sold. Any future orders will be made to the same design but clearly as wood is a natural product, there will be variance in the grain etc.
